Truth, Dreams, and The Everythings In-Between is a richly layered novelette set in reimagined post-war America, circa 1919. Loosely based on true experiences and historical events, it follows Kaiveyah — a spirited, quick-witted young Puerto Rican woman arriving alone at Ellis Island — as she navigates a foreign land, an uncertain future, and an unexpected love.
When fate brings her face to face with David, a charming and disillusioned Sardinian immigrant with secrets of his own, their worlds begin to collide in ways neither could have anticipated. Together and apart, they must confront the cost of dreaming in a country that does not always keep its promises.
